Toward the end of this session, Lou Engle showed up for the Q & A and pitched the idea of linking his The Call efforts with Liberty University to put together a massive three-day fast with a half-million young people crying out to God to free this nation from the grip of homosexuality. Barber said he'd love to work with Engle in trying to pull that together.

X is "deviant" because is it evil, and it is gross, unnatural, and terribly, terribly important and threatening--mainly because we say it is and because you already think it is, dear Clever Person. Aren't we all just terribly grave and special and liberated? We care, but we know that we mostly care as only those who are covered by the blood of the Lamb can care: we care to censure; we care to be righteous and never wrong. And if we're wrong, we're still special, chosen, and safe for eternity. Ah, we just can't lose!
