The religious right is winning in California. They've dumped $10 million into TV ads that spread the lie that churches will lose their tax-free status if they don't marry same-sex couples. So now the mean-spirited Proposition 8 marriage ban is ahead in the polls. But when undecided voters see pro-ban versus pro-marriage ads side-by-side, most see how mean-spirited Proposition 8 is. Please contribute to the "No On Proposition 8" campaign to help them get their ads on television and on the radio.

It is OK for right wing christians to lie, because they are doing it for God. This statement reminds me of Richard Nixon, when he said that if the president does something, then it is not illegal. These christians have probably not realized this, but they are acting in an astoundingly faithless manner. They are showing that, deep down, they don't really believe, they just want to believe.

I hope the girl with the camera is okay. Obviously the camera is. She didn't get scratched or messed up by the jackass, did she?
On a side note, voting yes on prop 8 is closer to Nazism than voting no, the Nazis persecuted and gassed gays along with the Jews.
