Aren't the laws set up to protect anyone from being attacked. How does someone know if who they are attacking is Gay? Why should there be a classification. Just prosecute the S.O.B. for what he did to a person. It seems to me that if you attempt to prosecute the criminal under a law that sets the victim aside as something more than just a human being, you draw more hateful attention.
