Courtesy of Dark Christianity comes this story, a silver cloud that a lead lining, however:
Christian broadcaster Pat Robertson . . . has lost a bid for re-election to the National
Religious Broadcasters' board of directors.
"I would say that there was broad dismay with some of Pat's comments
and a feeling they were not helpful to Christian broadcasters in
general, but by no means was there any broad effort in our association
to dissociate ourselves with him," NRB President Frank Wright said in
Wednesday's Washington Post.
Among the successful candidates for the board was Jay Sekulow, chief
counsel of the Washington-based American Center for Law and Justice, a
nonprofit group founded by Robertson.
So, the Henry Luce of the 80's dominionist set has been replaced by the Roger B. Taney of today, Jay Sekulow.
